This spare tire mount is a must-have accessory for your Polaris Ranger or General. It is designed to securely hold your spare tire while you're on the go. This mount is compatible with Polaris models from 2006 to 2026, making it a versatile accessory. It is manufactured by Hornet Outdoors, a trusted brand in the industry. The mount is easy to install and will not take up much space on your vehicle. IMPORTANT NOTE: On the Ranger, the Spare an be mounted on either side of the bed, or up against the cab. The bed on the Polaris General is too short, front to back, to mount a spare tire to the side bed rail. However, a spare tire can be mounted on the front bed rail behind the cab. Fits well
The mount fits my Ranger Crew bed nicely. Tire stays securely on the mount. Only issue is that the plastic covered nut that holds the tire in place seperated, the nut came out of the plastic. Still works jusr need to use a wrench to tighten orloosen the nut to remove tire.

The spare tire carrier is a sturdy, well made bracket. I actually bought two of them for tire and fuel can mounting on my Polaris Northstar.

A:
The Mount sits on the top edge of the bed and the center of the Bolt/through hub has a maximum height of 4.5” above the bed. Add to that your bed height so you’ll want to measure that. If your bed height is 10.5” or more then the center of your wheel would be 15”. In that case yes your tire will fit subject to the below info: The bed on the General is about 24” front to back so you can’t mount it on the side. With your 30” tire you’ll need to mount it up against the cab. Need to make sure you don’t have anything mounted on the back of your cab that will get in the way. Another option is our U-4047 Hitch spare tire mount; it’s comes in 3 lengths or our G-1000 Rack that was designed so you can attach a spare tire to the back of the rack and still close your tailgate.

A:
The Bed on a Ranger is about 11.5" Deep. The Height to the top of the slot on the ST-800 Mount is 4", making the distance off the bed to the center of the Mount about 15". So, with a 32" Tire, the Hub that the ST-800 uses will be mounted slightly below center on your wheel but yes, it will fit.
