A: This hitch is for a 2" Receiver. Hornet also builds one for a 1 1/4" hitch. that part number is U-6043

This adjustable hitch was designed for ATV/UTV use so the answer is not designed to handle that heavy of a load. We have another product that is; the U-4200. Also , to answer your question about the ball; this is an adjustable hitch. You can insert your own ball hitch in it for towing (UTV/ATV) or a Feeder, Spreader, Hitch Basket or other Implement such as a cultivator.
