Hornet Outdoors Receiver Hitch Spare Tire Mounts are the solution for carrying a spare tire for your ATV or UTV without taking up any valuable rack or bed space.
The U-4047 Is a two piece Receiver Hitch Spare Tire Mount that makes it easy to remove your spare for access to your tailgate. It mounts the wheel on a low-profile Curved High Clearance Lower Component to maximize clearance from the ground. .
Unlike trucks and SUVs, ATV and UTV receiver hitches are commonly located beneath the vehicle. The unique angled lower section of our Receiver Hitch Spare Tire Mount extends the receiver hitch beyond the rear of the vehicle and provides plenty of ground clearance in rough terrain.
Includes a Receiver Hitch Pin (for use between the upper and lower components). Additional hitch pins are available here.

The second dropdown selection is the length.
The U-4047 comes in 2 available lengths. Select from either a 17” lower component or 19”. You will measure the distance from your receiver hitch pin to the back of your bumper or bed to get the correct length. The 17" is most common for ATV's and UTV's with no Bumper and the 19" is the most common if you have a bumper.

The mount post attaches to the lower section with an industry standard 5/8" hitch pin, allowing the mount post and mounted spare to be removed and reinstalled in seconds for easy UTV tailgate use and bed access.

The included hitch pin attaches the mount post to the lower section. A second 5/8" hitch pin is required to attach the Spare Tire Mount to your vehicle and can be purchased at a discounted price as an optional add-on.
For added convenience, consider the U-4047S Swing-Away Spare Tire Mount (available [here]) or U-4048S Swing-Away Spare Tire Mount for deep inset wheels (available [here]), which allow the Spare Tire Mount Post to pivot away from the bed of your UTV for easy tailgate access.
The included U-4045 Hitch Stabilizer can optionally be installed to eliminate wobble between the lower section and the mount post but prevents toolless removal and reinstallation of the mount post. A second Stabilizer to eliminate play between the lower section and the vehicle receiver hitch can be purchased at a discounted price as an optional add-on. The included 3/8" fasteners will accommodate most wheels, but some wheels may require the separate purchase of longer bolts.
